When I saw the first teaser for this movie, I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to go see it, especially since M. Night Shyamalan has lately been focused on making weird movies with plots I can’t understand.

But after seeing the new trailer… wow.

UPDATE: The whole whitewashing issue has only recently been brought to my attention by my friends. I haven’t really heard about this problem before I watched this specific trailer, but that points more to my (past) ignorance of the whole situation rather than the gravity of it.

Honestly though, even though I probably should be bothered, given that the world of Avatar is decidedly Asian (or Chinese to be specific), I’m not. Think what you will of that. I still plan on watching the movie when it comes out.
