This place has gone through so many name changes it has different personalities. Fortunately, I’ve already bought a domain name so this is pretty much as final as you can get for a name. Welcome to bluemechaoxide.
Whatever it’s called, this blog is: my place of work, my hobby, my haven and my little corner of the internet. Here I put up whatever captures my interest; and specifically that would be games, art and music. Sometimes I’ll write about a great (or sucky) movie (or two). Other times I’ll segue into books that I recommend. Like the subtitle suggests, I think all of these are what keep life fresh and make everyday a brand new adventure. Wow cheesy.
Since, all things willing, I plan to do any (or all) of the above for a living one day, this should be one hell of a ride.

My name is Mix Lagula and I am an avid gamer. My earliest childhood memory was playing with a multi-screen Game and Watch my father had bought me - I forget the name of the game, but it was something along the lines of catching falling bombs, three at a time, then dumping them to the side when your container got full. Good times indeed.
I grew up playing the NES, Sega Genesis and SNES, with iconic games like Super Mario, Excitebike, the Streets of Rage series, Mickey Mouse’s Castle of Illusion(!), Street Fighter II and Chrono Trigger, among others. Who can forget these games once they’ve been played? Personally I can still recount the many classic moments waiting inside those cartridges.
I fell in love with games. And I still love them to this day; so much so that now I’m trying to make my own.
With a combined interest in art-in-general and music as well as some proficiency in programming, I plan to do this thing for as long as I am able. Should be a nice way to spend time.
